Methodology
He tries to be flexible and adapt to the level of each student. How to go about a session:
- Start by asking the student if he has questions, both about what was done last time and about the concepts discussed at school.
- Evaluate the understanding of the previous notions (small quiz of 5 minutes).
- Check the work asked to the student, I identify the possible misunderstandings then proposes a detailed correction of the questions not included.
- The session involves either exercises if the student needs to train on a notion, or illustrated explanations of examples and typical exercises if the student did not understand a notion.
- At the end of the session, he makes a review of it with the student, we look together what was understood, or not and according to that, what the student must do for the next session.
- The student is strongly encouraged to take home the notions and exercises discussed during the session to promote assimilation.
Beyond the simple teaching he strives to create a pleasant and relaxed work environment to foster the student's confidence. Such a work atmosphere and personalized follow-up help students find the winning mind they need to succeed.
